The Best Lobby Hack Codes In Fortnite Override
Last night, I posted some hidden details you might have missed from the Fortnite: Override trailer. A link to this post can be found here. Today, now that Override has launched and players have gotten a chance to test the new content, it’s time to take a closer look at one of the season’s most overlooked additions: “Lobby Hacks”. Here are some of the best codes currently available and why you should use them.
If you just care about the codes, here’s a quick list of everything mentioned in the article:
- GottaGoFast – Cheat Master Sonic Sprite
- IWannaFlyHigh – Cheat Master Tails Sprite
- Magilume – 2,000 Sprite Dust
- Abgestaubt – 2,000 Sprite Dust
- Perlimpinpin – 2,000 Sprite Dust
- Chispambo – 2,000 Sprite Dust
- ReachYourImpossible – “Block Party” Loading Screen
- BeMoreAlien – “Override Ready” Loading Screen
GottaGoFast and IWannaFlyHigh
These two codes grant two specific Sprites. The former grants the Cheat Master variant of Sonic, while the latter provides the Cheat Master variant of Tails. While they do have unique abilities (Sonic allows you to sprint faster, while Tails grants the ability to hover), sprites of this rarity also have an additional use.
“Cheat Codes” are now spread across the Battle Royale map, replacing Sprite chests. These codes are a string of 5 randomly generated inputs you must find to receive a specific Sprite. The color of each code coincides with the rarity of the Sprite you receive.
While this may sound monotonous to solve normally, the Cheat Master Sprites allow all inputs to be correct when entering the codes. Thus, these codes are absolutely essential for players (especially Sprite collectors) who want to obtain Sprites without having to manually solve the codes.
Magilume, Abgestaubt, Perlimpinpin, and Chispambo
These codes are also especially useful for Sprite collectors. Each code individually grants 2,000 Sprite dust, tallying up to 8,000 dust in total. As someone who grinded the Sprite season last season in Fortnite: Runners, I know how difficult it can be to gather large quantities of Dust (especially early on in the season).
Considering there are 13 Sprites in this Season at launch (with many more planned to drop throughout), it appears Override will be no different than Runners. In other words, these codes provide a substantial head start for anyone hoping to fully complete their Sprite collection.
Plus, the new “Loot Hacks” feature allows you to spend Dust to unlock, upgrade, and utilize exclusive weapons and items in Battle Royale. Players will likely want as much Dust as possible to fully experience the new content this season.
ReachYourImpossible and BeMoreAlien
While these last two codes don’t provide a competitive advantage, they do offer some interesting seasonal Loading Screens to add to your collection. The former code grants a visually striking image (painted by artist Sam Perin) of popular Fortnite original characters dancing with the new Wrixel skin, who is part of the Season 4 Battle Pass. For some unexplained reason, the Fortnite originals have enlarged heads. While the image is admittedly strange, it is one that can be freely collected.
The latter code grants another great piece by Afu Chan, a comic artist famous in the Fortnite community for his visually appealing loading screens. This specific loading screen, titled “Override Ready”, pictures four of the Battle Pass skins (from left to right: K1TTYW1NS, Mali, Bastian, and Grace Crowne) posing on the Battle Royale map. This is another great Loading Screen to collect, especially for fans of the artist.
