How I Keep My Lego Star Wars Minifigures Stored
This might be a bit of a shorter post, but I thought it was something people might be interested in. In recent years, minifigure collectors have become increasingly prevalent in the Lego fandom (especially in the Lego Star Wars realm). Some people might want to start collecting minifigures of them. Today, I’m going to offer some general advice for how to store your minifigures, along with some specific advice for Lego Star Wars collectors.
TIP 1: GET A BASEPLATE

This may be obvious, but practically every Lego collector has one of these. They are pretty cheap on Amazon and can hold tons of minifigures. I’m pretty sure they come in different colors and sizes, but here I’ll showcase the one I currently use. While it doesn’t have a lot of minifigures on it now, it has space for many more and came at a cheap price!

TIP 2: FIND TRUSTED ONLINE RETAILERS

In the world of minifigure collecting, there are many affordable online options. Sites such as Bricklink, Facebook Marketplace, and Whatnot offer ways to buy and bid on minifigures. Of course, there are also many methods to purchase bootlegs/custom figures, such as AliExpress, eBay, or Baggles Studio for Star Wars figures. It is worth noting that custom figures tend to be pretty pricy even if they are often high-quality.
TIP 3: COLLECT CHEAP KEY SETS

This last tip is mainly for Lego Star Wars fans, as there are some cheap sets that include important minifigures. One set I highly recommend is the Captain Rex microfighter. Before this set, this figure could only be found in a $700 UCS Venator set. Now, it can be found in a set that goes as low as $8 on Amazon. This minifigure is great for any Clone Wars fan, as it really accurately portrays Rex’s armor from the series. There are other affordable Microfighters as well, including those for Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, Kylo Ren, and many others.

No matter how you collect minifigures, the main goal is to have fun collecting. If you don’t have a big budget to collect with, you can always start small and get more minifigures if you want to. In a matter of time, you’ll probably have a collection that even you will be impressed with.
